Testimonial Software

Most testimonial software is a suite: video capture, review syndication, importers, CRM automation, team seats. PraiseHarbor is deliberately one workflow done properly — collect a consented text story, moderate it privately, publish it as a wall or an embed. Here is exactly what that includes, and what it does not.

  • Text testimonials
  • Single-owner workspace
  • Consent-first by design

What is included

  • Private workspaceGoogle sign-in, with a first space created automatically. Up to five spaces per account, each fully independent.
  • Hosted collection formOne public address per space, with your own heading, prompt, and thank-you message, and a required display-consent checkbox.
  • Email alertsA message to the space's alert address when a story arrives, with the customer set as reply-to.
  • Moderation inboxApprove, hide, feature, or delete, with the consent record and a bounded moderation history attached to each story.
  • Wall builderGrid, list, or marquee; five accents; headline, rating, and attribution toggles; a live preview.
  • Embeddable widgetA single iframe that stays in sync with the space's settings and approvals.
  • Data controlsA full JSON export, plus deletion of a single story, a whole space, or the entire account.

What is not included

These are real absences, not roadmap language. If your evaluation depends on one of them, PraiseHarbor is the wrong tool today.

  • Video and mediaThere is no video or file upload. Every story is text plus an optional 1–5 star rating.
  • Imports and integrationsThere is no importer for reviews held on other platforms, and no CRM, Zapier, or webhook automation.
  • TeamsA workspace has a single owner. There are no team seats, roles, or assigned approvals.
  • Custom domainsCollection pages and walls are served from praiseharbor.com. Custom domains are not available.
  • Unlimited anythingLimits are bounded, not unlimited: five spaces per account and 500 stories per space.

How the safeguards work

The parts that are easy to skip in a testimonial tool, and are not skipped here.

Safeguard

Nothing auto-publishes

Every story arrives pending. Approval is a person's decision, and it is reversible — hiding removes a story from the wall and every embed at once.

Safeguard

Consent is a record

The exact sentence the customer agreed to is stored with the story and travels with your export.

Safeguard

Public means bounded

The public response carries only name, role, company, story, rating, featured flag, and date. The narrow projection is enforced in code and covered by a test.

What this page does not claim

Useful search results start with an accurate promise. These limits apply today, in the shipped product.

  • Customer email addresses, the stored consent sentence, owner identifiers, and moderation history are never part of a public response.
  • Limits are bounded, not unlimited: five spaces per account and 500 stories per space.
  • A workspace has a single owner. There are no team seats, roles, or assigned approvals.
  • Pricing plans and paid entitlements are not enabled. The payments feature flag ships switched off.

Questions about testimonial software

Is PraiseHarbor testimonial software or review software?

Testimonial software. It collects stories you request directly from customers and publishes the ones you approve. It is not a public review platform, it does not syndicate to review sites, and it does not collect unsolicited ratings.

Does it handle video testimonials?

No. Text testimonials with an optional star rating only. There is no recording, upload, or hosting of media of any kind.

What are the account limits?

Five spaces per account and 500 stories per space, with the moderation history on each story capped at its most recent 30 events.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. The account view downloads a JSON export of every space and every story, including consent records and moderation history. You can also delete a single story, a whole space, or your entire account and all its data.
